Polka Dot Ring
Amy Renshaw has just released this new series of rings with the lovely caption: "a spoonful of diamonds, a spoonful of gold"
This ring has two gemstones on the one band, a sapphire and a diamond, each ring can be sold separately or in a stack: see the Stack Polka Dot Rings or the Single Polka Dot Ring. If you look at the image on the left it is the first ring, with the sapphire and diamond, the other ring (Single Polka Dot Ring), is sold separately.
This series of rings have been whimsically and playfully titled 'Polka Dot' rings, they can be configured to suit your requirements, shown is a stunning blue Ceylonese sapphire, with a diamond to support its brilliance. Or you could choose rubies instead.
The rings can be made in white gold, the finished look is up to you : )
Materials: 18ct yellow gold, band W: 2.5mm x T: 1.8mm, set with a 4mm blue Ceylon sapphire and a 2mm/0.03ct brilliant cut diamond, shown in a matte finish.

My work concentrates on geometric shapes of crisp, clean, refined lines. Uncomplicated, simple forms, combined with asymmetrical detail or an element of something unexpected.
I am intrigued by the limitless possibilities of colour and its application in the creation of small precious objects. Integrating acrylic materials, with the durability, strength and beauty of gold and silver.
The pure whiteness of silver against vibrant red, or the warmth of yellow gold with opaques.
Recently my work has incorporated embossing techniques and relief work, that explore more ornate imagery. I intend this as a reference to something 'old worldly', antique or elusive to time or date.
Each piece is made with careful consideration and stems from a love of the materials and the joy of making.
Melbourne, Australia.
